Last  weekend was very busy around the club with the new posts erected and pitch markings painted on Saturday and the first match played on the new pitch by the U16 in a convincing win over Dromara. The final works should be completed around the ground over the next few weeks so please be careful when around the pitch during this time.

Drumaness 6:9 - Dromara 2:10  Drumaness U16’s got their season off to a good start with a good win over Dromara. Drumaness started the game off very well scoring two goals from Conor Reid and Aiden Donnelly. Further points and goals from Drumaness put them further ahead. Dromara then found a foothold in the game and fired over a few quick points to reduce the deficit. The Drumaness full back line made up of Jason Noade and James McCauley where in impeccable form, sweeping up any pass in their sights.  The game became much closer in the second half with Dromara scoring further points and forcing several excellent saves from the Drumaness goalkeeper Keelan Gelston. However Phillip Cassidy popped up with another goal to put the game beyond the reach of Dromara. At times in the game Drumaness played well as a unit but the individual performances of Conor Reid, Michael Phillips, Adam Smith and James McCauley deserve particular recognition.
